Kuciak had investigated ties between the kalabreze mafia and political personalities. The murder of journalist and his fiancée had caused powerful manifestations against the Slovak government and had brought the resignation of Prime Minister Robert Fico.
“Alena Zs. Ordered murder, Thomas Sz. Killed them with bullets, Miroslav M. was the driver and Zoltan A. a mediator”, said this prosecutor, whose name does not become known, during a news conference in Bratislava, broadcasts ATSH.
The killer was paid 7,000 euros, out of which 500,000 euros in cash and 20,000 euros through the annulment of a debt Zoltan A. She had Allena Zs”, the same prosecutor stressed.
