Serbian List MP chief Igor Simi said they would never support the formation of this army, and that according to him it is contrary to Resolution 1244.
“requires economic progress, not military formations. The bill we speak today is appropriate, but here we have to consider Resolution 1244, the Kumanovo Agreement, and that is not in accordance with the Constitution. I mean that this law is not contrary to the interests of Serbs, but is not contrary to the interest of Albanians. Young people go from Kosovo, not because there is a military formation, they say there is economic development. With this amount of money, a large number of jobs could be opened. Internationals would listen, if we were to throw tear gas but we didn't do it for the sake of our voters, and therefore we would drop the hall”, Siomen said.
