The interior minister of the far right, Matteo Salvin, is being sharply criticised following the proposal that would force what he calls an ethnic small:8x0> to be closed before 9 p.m., writes The Guardian, translates Periscopi.
Salvin added such a move to his security decree targeting immigrants, arguing that these goods stores, most of which lead foreigners, have become “substitutes for drug dealers”.
He claims that this initiative does not specifically attack foreigners and was simply a way to prevent the abuse committed in certain stores”.
Thousands of goods stores in Italy are guided by immigrants, mainly by people from Bangladesh and India. /Periscopi
