The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, has written on his Facebook account about yesterday's resignation of the chairman of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency board. [ The AKP, writes Periscope.
Mustafa has expressed his concern, saying he has been forced to resign “to pave the way for someone to be enriched by properties belonging to Kosovo”. Mustafa comments that during the time that Gashi was in office no closer to corruption had occurred.
This is Mustafa's full post:
Dear friends,
Yesterday I learned from the media that Petrit Gashi resigned from the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kosovo Privatisation Agency. Meanwhile, several days ago the members of this board, except Petrit, had decided to dismiss the Agency's manager.
More than three years have been filled out that Kosovo has been spared by the AKP's relatives and scandals, by theft and manipulation. So those who did not steal or manipulate themselves or others were forced to flee. Professor Petrit Gashi, one of the deepest and most prominent economists not only in Kosovo but even wider, doctored in Great Britain, specialising in many US programmes, is stepping down because he does not co-operate with crime.
It is painful and disappointing that after a systematic, successful work and regulation in the AKP, the directors of this agency will be forced to download and resign, to pave the way for someone to be enriched by property belonging to Kosovo.
Here's another argument that this power has to go as soon as possible.
