Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said that citizens who hunt waste and do not care for the environment will be punished.
These statements were made during the action “to clear Kosovo”, which was organised today in the Gjakova municipality.
According to Haradinaj, visa liberalisation cannot be required and on the other hand to pollute the environment.
Haradinaj: Punishments have been real.
“Dinations, punishments have been real, so it will not be allowed to continue as yet. Now we're boasting on other topics, boasting that we're making armies, that we're entering Interpol, we're begging for liberalisation, in fact, look at how we throw the trash”, Haradinaj said.
In contrast, organisation co-ordinator “Lets do it Kosova”, Luan Hasanaj, called for common properties to be considered such and maintained. He said he hoped they would not need to return to this area to clean up, and at the same time announced their work process.
Hasanaj: Half of major warehouses in Kosovo have been evacuated
Until today, 322 legal waste depots in Kosovo have been removed. There are over 150 thousand citizens, people who have participated in the cleanup of all of Kosovo, so it turns out that half of the large warehouses in Kosovo are gone and with this dynamic we are continuing every day in all municipalities”, Hasanaj said.
Otherwise, action “to clear Kosovo” started in September this year and will last until December.
