After the government proceeded in the country with three bills related to the transformation of the KSF, the KSF's Internal Affairs, Security and Supervisory Commission voted the bills by paving the way for the plenary session.
Life Krasniqi from the Kosovo Democratic Institute says this time has been chosen to finalise this issue since this way would not go into question in Kosovo's (Serbia) dialogue, and that this issue of national importance should not be held by the Serbian List.
Krasniqi views the political parties' stance in the country as positive regarding the transformation of the KSF, and that this is one of the rare cases when political parties in Kosovo find consensus.
Opposition positions on the KSF's Commission for Oversight agreed on the prosecution away of the package with KSF bills, and all pledged they would give their maximum support to finalise this issue when it goes to the plenary session in Parliament in Kosovo.
While the Serbian List showed once again that it opposes the formation of the Kosovo Army.
MP Zoran Mojsinovic has warned that this party opposes converting the KSF into the military and, according to him, is being taken contrary to recommendations made by NATO.
But, MP Rexhep Selimi says they now do not need the support of the Serbian List to make the military.
He vows they will carry out the task they owe for the transfer of the KSF, but says that among two readings of the bills must be worked more, since, according to him, there are shortages within them.
Although the transformation of the KSF is being made with legal and non-religious changes, security issues connoisseur Agim Musliu says it will not present any problem with advancing the Force in the future.
The transformation of KSF into the military would consolidate the sovereignty of the state of Kosovo.
For its transformation, the Government of Kosovo handed over the package with three bills including the Kosovo Security Force bill, the draft service in the Kosovo Security Force and the defence ministry bill.
While to make a transformation with constitutional changes, as was the attempt to take place several years ago, two-thirds of the deputies are needed, and two-thirds of minority deputies as well.
