According to Hoxhaj, dialogue with Serbia should be defined and there should be definition of topics. He has said dialogue must definitely be closed with mutual recognition and there will be other points of discussion.
What the president is saying is his attitude. He was elected by the Parliament votes. There is constitutional mandate, but in a more real plan we should have legal obligations with Serbia, with the main mutual recognition point. We don't have to sit down without such a point. The next point is cooperation. We have a limit of over 400 miles [400 km], and we have business interests and others. It's the question of the dead, the war damage, the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. The fourth element could be demarcation of the border. The debate should not focus on a dimension of the agreement, but it should include all elements. Hoxhaj has called on the LDK and the VV that missed today's meeting to sit together to reach a consensus. According to him, when major policies are led responsible is the government, but also the opposition.
He has added that the president of Kosovo in the dialogue is exercising the role it has with the Constitution.
The president is not aiming to assume role, exercising the role of the Constitution. The constitution says it leads foreign policy. Dialogue is foreign policy.
