Hopes Vanished Kosovo Politicians Can Join Last Face With Serbia

Representatives of the ruling political parties say Kosovo should be unique during the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue in order to preserve sovereignty and integrity. Kosovo Assembly Chairman Kadri Veselini said that with the political spectrum, they are on the right track to reach a consensus, which, he said, is the interest of citizens to preserve the state and partnership with the international community.
We need to avoid our electoral interests right now. To be directed to confronting a challenge that is not easy. That is Serbia. At the same time, Kosovo citizens should be safe in political parties, in the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for the protection of sovereignty, constitutionality, integrity at the same time for failing to allow the creation of parallel powers, which could harm Kosovo currently, but at the same time could be shared tomorrow. This is unacceptable”, Veselin said.
Wessel invited opposition parties, which he said, “leave egos and resentments and move into the face-to-face part with Serbia”, then, he said, there is time to fight for power.
Following the LDK Parliamentary Group's request to hold an extraordinary session, the Parliamentary Council has decided that the session will hold on October 31st, where it expects the resolution to be adopted, which will require the issue of Kosovo's borders not to be discussed in dialogue with Serbia in Brussels.
LDK MP Armend Zemaj said after the assembly of the Parliament's Headship, that the country's interest is protection of territory and sovereignty, and that all must work for it.
This initiative should have the deserved outcome, as is the request of most Kosovo citizens, whether as concern or as something that is very principled. Above all, it is legal and constitutional protection of Kosovo's territorial integrity and the failure to have negotiations on any issue affecting the constitutional elements of our state”, Zemaj said.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has reiterated his stance that he does not accept any agreement with Serbia that leads to changing borders.
According to him, in terms of dialogue between Serbia, all institutions, the Government, Parliament and the Presidency must carry out their duties so that Kosovo does not remain late.
I think we're getting late. I think even the LDK that is initiating this session and everyone, we're getting late. We keep talking about what you're not doing, but we're not making an option, and we're actually weakening ourselves on the outside plan. It is a late approach, at a time when the processes are leaving”, Haradinaj has declared at a news conference.
Politologist Ramush Tahiri told Radio Free Europe, that Kosovo is obliged to do a political dialogue with Serbia, which it still does not know why it is necessary and, as he said, Kosovo also does not know what it should offer and what it should do.
Kosovo must make an internal debate. But, Kosovo, respecting itself as a sovereign and independent state, should offer normalisation of relations with Serbia. There can be no guiding garrison to offer anything more than it is meant for with Kosovo Constitutions and laws and nothing more than to deal with normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia. Anything else that is being made up of the opinion even dealing with reforming the border, dealing with other issues of autonomy, the community of municipalities and other open issues, in my opinion, disturbs the situation more than more clarifying the situation”, Tahiri said.
He said Kosovo should behave both as a normal state and as a front to the international community, and, according to him, should be seen as compromise on agreement on the overall normalisation of Kosovo-Serbia reports.
While the political subjects in power and opposition are not finding common language about Kosovo's representation in dialogue and the platform for talks, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has called on parliamentary political parties for unity in the Kosovo Assembly, especially regarding the platform for talks with Serbia. /rel
