In a conversation for Croatia's “Vecernji List”, Haradinaj has stressed that it opposes Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's idea for exchange of territories with Serbia.

President Hashim Thaci and I have a common goal of maintaining Kosovo's integrity, sovereignty and independence, territorial borders and peace in our country. I've clearly said I'm not about the division of the territory and I don't want any experiment with our blood-made country. It is dangerous to talk about boundaries and changes in our region. I'm totally against this idea of playing border. I think that changing borders would question our independence and territorial integrity. With Serbia, we can only talk about mutual recognition, but never about changes of borders or exchange of”, Haradinaj has said in this interview.

For us, compromise is the very fact that we are talking to Serbs and leaving behind the painful time of war in which crimes have been committed against Kosovars have killed us, violated our wives, destroyed our assets... After all, it is a compromise on our part to build political relations, negotiate, and mutual recognition. We are ready for a peace pact with Serbia because we should have that vision so that in the future there will be peace among our peoples on this Balkan site”, Haradinaj added, adding that he does not care about the provocations coming from Belgrade, Koha.net broadcasts.

Despite the ongoing provocations coming from Belgrade, I don't believe it will come to any clash or war because we do our job and build our state and its institutions. Our goal is to live peaceably with all neighbors, and we will never stir up strife or war. Our priorities is reaching a peace agreement with Serbia. All problems with Montenegro, with Macedonia and Albania we have solved, and our goal is to achieve this even with Serbia, after which we can prepare for EU membership. In addition to the EU, our goal is membership in NATO as well. We do all things, do it in the interests of our State and our people, and we will not allow our integrity and sovereignty to be endangered. While the provocations Aleksandar Vuciqi and his ministers there do, as they did after President Thaci's visit to Weman, we are not interested and we do not want to waste time on these. Better it is for the Serbian president to actually deal with approaching the EU, not to deceive his people and constantly win political points with the raising of tensions in Kosovo”, adds the head of Kosovo executive, broadcast Koha.net.

Prime Minister Haradinaj has also said that Kosovo will not give up Trepca nor Wemen, as, as he says, “those are Kosovo's precious stones and we will never give up to”.

“are our resources and we don't allow anyone to take them from us, just as any other independent state in the world would act. All that is within Kosovo's borders is Kosovo. And we will not ask for anything in Croatia, Serbia or Macedonia”, he stressed.

According to Haradinaj, the formation of the Kosovo Army is a normal process that now lasts 20 years, from 1999, and said that you do not understand why Serbs <x0] suffered tensions for any detail”.

We have our forces. Our army is now trained according to NATO standards and by NATO. It's the multiethnic force in which there are Serbs. Every country must have its own army. I don't see why they panic in Serbia. It will be a defence army, not the invading force of Kosovo. Its purpose and mandate will be to protect Kosovo's integrity and sovereignty, not to occupy and take over territory of other states”, Haradinaj explained to “Vecernji” the purpose of the Kosovo Army.

Kosovo Prime Minister also spoke of attacks Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan had on him after the Kosovo Interior Minister's dismissal in connection with the expulsion of 6 Turkish citizens from Kosovo to Turkey, whom the Turkish state designated as members of the organisation. FETO, an organisation Turkey considers terrorist.

As for the attack that I am not a true Muslim and drink alcohol I order them that I am Albanian, above all. My identity is not religion. Albanians are an old people who have also lived Christians. I don't owe anyone but myself what I am and how I feel. I was in the mosque, but not as a believer. I go to the mosque to visit the imams for Bajram, but not as a believer, but as political representative”, Haradinaj said in this interview, adding that the “Albanians were believers only during the Ottoman Empire when religion was imposed”.

The head of the Kosovo executive has expressed satisfaction that the leaders of the Croatian state are clear in their positions as regards resolving problems between Kosovo and Serbia.

On the other hand, he has shown that he often listens to Croatian General Ante Gotovina, whom he describes as a very good friend and who he says will have gone through much.
