Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has declined to show which orders were given to US Deputy Secretary Matthew Palmer at the meeting with political party leaders in the country, but has stressed that there is no changing attitudes as regards the agreement with Serbia.
Haradinaj has said he has no right to disclose details, but has stated that he has made it clear to Palmer that they oppose an agreement based on territories and borders.
What did Mr. Haul say? Palmer, I have no right to speak. It's the American Embassy. Call them. What we say we know our attitudes are, but it's very important that Mr. Palmer in Kosovo, a man of his rank, considering how busy they are in America with numerous themes. It really testifies to a determination of America to remain with Kosovo and the region. So this is his main order coming, for more it's the American Embassy. We've made a proposal that day in a statement, we've said the usual ones, so there's no difference, there's nothing new. I can come back and repeat myself. I'm thinking that in these four months under stop we're talking about what are clear attitudes. But legal agreements, binding for mutual recognition with Serbia, not agreements based on neither territory nor borders. They are just campaigning for partitioning of Kosovo, Kosovo is February 17th and reconciliation, we are interested in reconciliation, we are interested in closing the remaining open issues” said the prime minister.
