While she has shown about her visit to Gjirkastra, she stresses that no flag in Bularat had been lowered, while the 35-year-old's murder learned after finishing her trip.
Through a Facebook reaction, she writes:
Today, in the cemetery of the fallen in the Bulara near Kulcyra to honor the Greek fallen.
A memorial day in the place where they fell. Great emotion among the mountains where they struggled with patriotism against fascism.
Greek flags everywhere, representatives of Greek and Albanian governments, Greek Ambassador, MPs, mayors, citizens and children of Greek schools. Religious prayer, flowering, ambassador speech, Greek and Albanian national anthem, poetry from children.
We left for three o'clock at lunch without any trouble.
Meanwhile, we were informed that a minority member of Kalashnikov had threatened to shoot the two governments, claiming that the agreement to restore memory of the fallen was treason.
No Greek flag sat down, all were raised.
After 3: 00 p.m., on the return trip, we were informed that the minority was surrounded, police asked him to surrender, he did not give up and that they killed him.
It was a tragic event that all of us on this morning, in the exciting atmosphere that prevailed, could not imagine”.
