An explosion has occurred near the Russian Federal Security Service building (FSB), in the northern town of Arkangelsk.
According to preliminary information, one person has lost his life and three others have been injured.
The victim was standing near the local office when the explosion occurred and was not an employee of the agency, according to TASS.
The blast is reported to be between the first and second doors of the building's entrance, followed by Oranews.tv.
Police are on the scene and all employees were evacuated from the building.
And the roads near the area where the explosion occurred have been blocked.
The motive for the event is not yet known.
