The number of Europeans who moved to Switzerland decreases

The number of European citizens who emigrated to Switzerland has scored 3 % compared to last year.

The data released by the State Department for Migration shows that 647 fewer people from Europe have moved to Switzerland from January to September.

However, the number of people who generally emigrate to Switzerland has increased by 1% over the same period.

In total, about 103, 893 people have gone to Switzerland for professional reasons, while 31, 971 have moved to the Swiss state for family reunion.
