Albanians do not want Montenegro flag change

Albanian Alternative Chairman and Senior Coalition Official “Albanians deployed” in Montenegro, Nick Gilosha, told the daily “Dan” that Albanian political subjects that are part of the government do not seek the change of state symbols and that their coalition will not support the Bosnian Party's initiative. Gilosha said [...]
Gilosha said they are also opposed to the initiative to remove the works of Jugo and Danilko Kish from the education programme in Montenegro.
“Albanians have no requests for flag change, because Montenegro's official flag is respected by Albanians. It is an expression of the majority of Montenegro, and we respect it. Albanians in Montenegro and wherever they live have their national flag and also their state flag in Montenegro. I think the Bosniak party's request is not good for Montenegro. Albanians do not understand and do not support the ties of religion to the nation and the flag”, Gelosaj said.
He estimated that the activities of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro and the Bosniak party's request are similar, the kp broadcasts.
“Sic think that the Church of Rumija should be removed, we are also in principle against the Bosnian Party's initiative to change the flag and other demands regarding the Tigos and Kish. We are willing to participate in discussions on all open issues, as we have contributed to Montenegro's independence and membership in NATO. The contribution on Montenegro's further democratic path will be indisputable when it comes to Albanians“, Gilosaj said.
