Export growth in Albania came after increasing the capacity of entrepreneurs in the village.
So declared Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, present at the opening of the new IPARD programme.
For the first time, he said, we spent $300 million in exports as a country. “5 years ago we had $150m in exports, and now we double them”, Rama said.
Likewise, Rama said that “so we see that for the first time this year we have no increase in agricultural imports, because domestic production is constantly compensating those spaces that were and continue to be occupied by imports”.
The government, Rama said, has undertaken a new approach policy in relation to all who want to benefit from supporting different funding schemes.
“We only support a certain number of products that have the export perspective”, the prime minister added.
