During this trial had been scheduled for Agon Demajj to be heard as the next witness, but after the same one failed to appear at the Court, the court continued with the reading of a statement by witness Driton Ajeti, college owner “Biomedica”.
Driton Ajeti had issued this statement in 2013 to the police, with whom he had witnessed about accrediting programmes for college “Biomedica”.
In his statement given in the police, Ajjeti had declared that for accrediting programmes for the “Biomedica” originally Basri Muja had asked him for the sum of 10,000 euros.
For this amount Basri Muja had asked him, the witness had said that he had met with Armen Muja in a café and had given him 5 thousand euros.
Although he had stated that for the amount he had given to Armendi, he had also gone to the office of Basri Muja, who was asked a bill about that amount, but Basri Muja had replied: “what fate is he looking for?”.
In addition to this statement, the witness mentions another case in which he met Basri Muja at a restaurant in Mitrovica, saying Basri Muja had asked him 50 thousand euros for accreditation of programmes.
And after the witness had asked Muja what she's asking for money, Muja replied: “is opening a university, it's a big deal this”.
According to this statement, the witness had later asked Muja if she was paying 50 thousand euros for the first year, how much she would have to pay for the second year.
I said first year should give him 50 grand, second year?
Then, according to this statement, the witness said: Put a bullet in my head”, and he said: “Don't be afraid that you're our friend, and I'll write down the pay dates”.
A person named Murat, who, according to the witness, was Hashim Thaci's bodyguard, has claimed to have demanded 65 thousand euros for accreditment of the programmes.
Regarding this statement of the witness given at the police station, there was reaction from defenders of the accused.
Basri Muja's defender, lawyer Bajram Tmava, even proposed that a statement from the witness given in 2011 on Kosovo's “jeta show “, which according to the defence hearing of this statement, could prove the incompatibility of this declaration with his interview on Kosovo's “Jeta show “
The proposal, which was approved by the court, which decided to repeat the invitation to witness Agon Demajaj to invite the same person to witness at the next session.
