Wessel: Recak massacre shame of international justice

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini, while speaking at the memorial academy for the Recak massacre, has said this event is a failure of international justice.

Recak's “Masacre is the disgrace of international justice” has declared Wessel.

“Janari is the month of great pain -- the village of Recak martyred for Kosovo freedom. The years are passing, but the memory and size of that day will never be forgotten. Just one month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence. The battle of justice for Recak is not over. Serbia will not try to return because we will no longer stop until Nis. This country will remain free independent and sovereign. Any breach will receive the deserved answer to all Albanians wherever they live. ”

Wessel has said that UCK is not yesterday's organisation, its legacy is still today.

The crime does not wear out or demand for justice, for the sake of respect for the victims of Recak and other massacres, but also for the children's sake to grow up as children all over the world, for the sake of international justice, because there cannot be international justice, without justice for Recak. There's no justice there that's meant to be placed between the victim and the aggressor”, Vessel said further.
