Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseline has spoken first in the Parliament's folklore, since he has said Pristina has become an environmentally compatible city, writes Periscope.
Wessel said the best situation could not even be in Obilic, Fushe Kosovo and Mitrovica, even though there is no meter.
He also mentioned various factors that have created this situation.
We don't even know what the Obilic situation in Kosovo is because we don't have a meter. We don't know the air condition in Mitrovica either. We must admit that because of construction control, urban chaos has flourished. The logging has also damaged our environment. The life of the capital has almost choked. Pristina has environmentally become an immortal city. But many other cities are no better, and repeat the situation in Obilic, Fushe Kosovo and Mitrovica”, Veselin said.
Wessel also said that concrete measures should be taken for this situation, and not just cosmetic measures.
We don't need to be alone with cosmetics that just shift attention, but they don't solve the problem. I consider it necessary to consolidate environmental policies, for air improvement”, he said.
Kosovo's Assembly will vote for a joint resolution today on the environmental situation in the capital with the goal of resolving the problem, but previously there will be debate between MPs and parliamentary groups.
