It was a reduction that caused panic among the quietest passengers. Pegasus Airlines' plane slipped off track at Trabzon Airport, Turkey.
His nose was a few yards from the Black Sea. A video published on Facebook by the BBC shows the horror experienced by passengers inside the plane.
A baby can be heard crying while passengers are evacuated from the plane.
All 168 passengers and the crew left, the flight agency said. The airport was closed for several hours after the incident.
