These 1823 persons were suspended earlier, having been charged with the downloading of the ByLock, an encrypted messenger that Ankara considers a communications tool for the pimps.
But, authorities have announced in late December that they had discovered that some people had downloaded the app in question without their knowledge.
More than 140,000 people have been fired or suspended from Turkish institutions since the coup effort.
In addition, about 55,000 people have been imprisoned under these sentences, which have also affected thousands of Kurds and critical media.
Among the persons returned to work by the decree are 544 employees from the Ministry of National Education, 458 from the General Security Directorate and 204 from the Health Ministry.
They will receive salaries for the entire time, during which they have been unemployed, but cannot ask for compensation. /Periscopi/
