SPD leader Martin Schulz is scheduled to hold a meeting with the delegates in Dortmund on Monday, which will represent the state of Nordrhein-Westfalia at a special party conference on Sunday, where it will be voted for approval or refusing to start formal coalition talks with the Chancellor's conservative union, Angela Merkel.
The SPD leader, Schulz, will participate in meetings that will take place in the town of Dusseldorf, in Nordrain-Westphaen, where about 144 delegates will participate at Sunday's conference in Bonn.
Negotiators for the SPD, Merkel's Christian Democrats (CDU) and its basic allies of the Christian Union (CSU) agreed on Friday to start formal talks on forming a major coalition that has governed Germany since 2008.
The country has had a technical government after the September elections, in which the SPD, CSU and CSU lost all the ground.
