Residents are troubled by the proximity of the new Paradition Centre

Twenty metres share the Centre for Pre-prisonment with social residences in Pristina's “neighbourhood. A razor wire and a high concrete wall. From the third floor onward, residents can see from the rooms or balcony any movement of prisoners, staff inside the yard, or even around the facility today [...]
Until this Friday, residents have felt more comfortable, since the center has not been functional. After the inauguration, however, it has become a real concern for them.
Ayse Shatroll, a mother of four, has told <x0 ..."Chahen” that he is uncomfortable when he thinks he will live near such a building along with his family. He said they've been in this social residence for two months.
I have four kids, some adults who go to school. It is not good for children to grow up in such an environment. It's really close to our building. It's just disturbing when I think about it, Shatroly said.
However, she has said that they do not have the power to complain, since even “mes have gained the right to settle there and to secure housing”.
