Police seize eight-member gang from Gjilan

Kosovo police, regional investigative units following an investigative work organised under the operational plan coded under the name “director” of December 26th 2017, for investigating the criminal acts of “Grabbitation”, events taking place at the end of 2017 and early 2017, on January 11, 2018, have executed the warrant for raids issued by the Constitutional Gjilan Court.

This has occurred in eight different locations, against eight persons all of Kosovo's Albanian citizens with residential residence in Gjilan.

They are allegedly involved in at least three cases of “Grabbities”.

Following the execution of the upper order, the eight suspects have been arrested by Kosovo police units, they have been interviewed in the quality of suspects for the criminal acts of “Grabbitation”.

To the four suspects, following interviews in the presence of their defenders, with the State Prosecutor's decision the ban has been imposed for 48 hours, under suspicion that they are involved in the criminal work of “grancy” located at a casino here in the town of Gjilan, on January 03rd, 2018.

To suspects M. S., a Penal Calulation for Criminal Work has been presented; “Keeping possession of control and use of firearms, as well as possession of narcotics”, and the same with the prosecutor's decision has been halted for 48 hours.

Suspect R. Mr. After the arrest was immediately sent to the face of a preliminary sentence pronounced by the Constitutional Court in Gjilan, while two other suspects after the interviews have been released in absence of material evidence and do not link to the same events.

During carrying out the search warrant at the eight surveyed locations have been found and seized these things as material evidence:

A Special Echo 99 call 9 mm pistol,

A (1) pistol clipper

Two AK-47 firearm clips.

One (1) Pistol Echo Cal 9mmm,

A clip of the same gun.

One (1) Zoraki M906-type pistol B

One, the same mag.

Eight rounds of 7.65mm calibre

A (1) gas pistol shell;

Three types of razor.

A (1) metal rod

In the quality of solid material evidence, it is believed that the weapon that was used by one suspect was found, at the time that the “migration was carried out at a casino in Gjilan, is also evidence of other material found by investigators, and the same links to the figure of criminal acts, suspects are believed to have acted as a group, organized criminal.

For all investigative actions taken in the past few days and during today, subject paperwork has been submitted for further procedure at the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjilan.

The case is being investigated.
