The question that arises naturally if such a scenario becomes reality is, how will the isolated communist country achieve its purpose?

Normal military doctrine says that in case an attack an aggressor should strike the numeric aspect of defence troops in the 3 to 1 report.

The leaders of the Korean People's Army believe their troops need only one advantage of two units by 1 to defeat American and South Korean troops.

According to Michael Peck's analysis in “National Interest”, the Peniani regime truly believes this, with the argument that it could use the same tactics that the Chinese army used in the Korean War, which resulted in success.

The expert says that the North believes that on the average level a soldier is more physically, mentally, militarily, but also politically than any soldier who might come from the neighbouring South.

According to an U.S. Army study on the capabilities of the Penian Armed Forces, such a soldier would choose to fight to the death rather than surrender.

The study, titled “The North core and the Threat Tactical Tactics”, was released in 2015 by the Military Command of Preparation and Doctrine in the United States.

But as the Korean War dates back to the '50s, the next question arises: Will the tactics of 70 years ago work today?

At the time, North Korean troops were confronted by a weakened and unprepared American army, but today they would face professional troops, modern weapons and sophisticated equipment.
