Major General Timothy E. Orr, speaking at the General Assembly in the State Capitol of Iowa this week, cited the importance of Kosovo's partnership and the state of Iowa, saying relations with these two states is important for stability in the Balkan region, broadcast Indesksonline.
Kosovo's “relation to the United States and to the state of Arava is an important factor in preserving peace and security in the Balkans region and facilitating growth and economic development in Europe's newest democracy”, General Orr stressed further.
