He has claimed that as leader of this government dictatorship, he is obliged to comply with the laws in force. At the same time, it has expressed conviction that the functioning of the Special Court does not dim the role of the Kosovo judiciary, Koha Ditore writes today.
Tahiri has confirmed that the initiative to abolish the Special Court has come from several Kosovo Parliament deputies, but that it is not formalised in the Parliament and that this court is currently established in accordance with legislation.
I, as justice minister, will work reform laws that are in effect. Currently, that court (special court v.j.) is founded on the basis of constitutional amendments and laws in force, and until now I am not informed whether there will be any initiative or whether there will be further continuation of such initiative”, Tahiri has said during the visit conducted at the Prizren Foundation Court.
