Lieberman said Abba's speech symbolises his departure from the prospect of peaceful talks and has instead chosen confrontation with Israel and the US.

Abbas has said yesterday that Jerusalem remains the eternal capital of Palestine, harshly criticising Trump's decision to recognise Jerusalem's capital city of Israel.
