The Anti-Corruption Agency (AKK), through a decision published on its website, has suggested that Health Minister, Ismaili Bridges, has given up management of two private businesses “Ban Vivant” and “Tranquille” with which they have avoided conflict of interest.
In decision, The AKK says their management presents possible conflict of interest on the basis of the Law for Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Army of Public Function.
The AKK, in the decision, also says Ismaili has agreed with the situation, but it has been argued that it has not been informed, “but has stated it will act according to the law in force to prevent the potential conflict of interest situation by bringing evidence that it will not figure as a person authorised to these businesses”.
After these actions, by Mr. Ismaili Bridge, Minister of Health, we've accepted official documents issued by ARBK, where it proves that the high official, the Ismaili Bridge, no longer figures as a person authorized in private businesses by the name of Bhan Vivantão and éTarquille”, said AKK in its decision, Koha.net reports.
The AKK says that with this move, the minister has avoided the possible state of the conflict of interest, but has said the case can be reopened at any time when other circumstances can be presented.
