Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, thinks the long-term solution for Kosovo will be found this year.
He said those words during an interview for “Radio Economist”.
What we're doing right now is finding a long-term solution so we don't leave a frozen conflict for those who come after us. We have a historic chance to find a lasting solution. If we do not use this case in 2018, we will not be given one for decades”, she said, as Serbian news agency “beta” broadcasts Koha.net.
She said the metaphor of “ulje on two chairs” ) Serbia's ties to both the West and Russia is “negative”.
“I continue to say there are not two chairs, it's one, it's just the Serbian chair. And we are fully for the EU and that is our strategic goal”, said the Serbian government chief, Brnabiq.
She, too, said she did not dare say the sentence “independent Kosovo” because, as she said, “would open Pandora's Box”.
