A woman's shocking letter: My husband's gonna kill me, I don't wanna...

The murder of Judge Fildeze Hafizi from her former husband in the middle of Tiranne on Thursday has sparked a sense of fear of life for many other women who in silence suffer domestic violence, threats by their husbands or ex. One of them, called Merita Brama, has written to the Thrush Initiative, which we [...]
One of them, called Merita Brama, wrote to the Thrush Initiative, which on her Facebook page published the shocking message of the woman who is afraid of life, that she could share it with Judge Fildez. She also published the picture of the ex-husband who threatened to kill him. But that is not all. The woman tells how she was savagely violated by the ex-husbands, and the prosecution and the police do not move their finger to protect them.
From Merita Brama Initiative, hello. My name is Merita Brama, and I want to appeal to all the structures of the state and society through you because I am in danger of life, me and my children. I broke up with my husband in May because he was violent. I couldn't take it anymore. After years of violence, I decided and left with the children. After we broke up on the morning of July 15, my husband was ambushing me as I went to work and tried to kill me with a lever. I've eaten over 40 strokes on my head and all my body and God knows how I could get rid of it. Washed in blood, I went to the station where I fainted and woke up in the trauma hospital. That's where the prosecution came and he took me in, but it took him a month and a half to declare the man in search. In the meantime he hides himself at his relatives and sends threats through his brothers that he will kill me and the children. The kids are with me, one is with me all day, watching over me while the other works. I'm so scared. I don't want to suffer like Filde who left this life. I love life and I didn't do anything wrong with someone taking it away from me. I love the kids and we want to live in peace. Police, prosecutors don't even listen to us. I've been looking for protection orders, nothing. No one listens to us and so we directed you, perhaps by making it public, many people are solidified, and the state responds and protects us. This is my ex-husband, Agim Isuf Dochi, the man who's going to kill us. Who has sworn that if he doesn't kill us, he won't find peace. Please help us!
