White House new declaration for Kosovo demarcation with Montenegro

The US Vice President Mike Pence received Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, “on Friday to reaffirm US support for a sovereign, democratic and prosperous Kosovo”.

The Vice President has praised Thaci's leadership, along with that of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, for advancing the EU-mediated dialogue for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations”, the White House announced.

The “Liders have agreed on the importance of advancing reforms, strengthening rule of law, fighting corruption and deepening economic growth. The vice president has voiced support for transforming the Kosovo Security Force through the constitution, and for ratification of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro”, the White House communique concludes.
