What is the family background of the legendary UCK commander, Adam Yashhar? Who was the Roma who with half a sack of grain saved Murat Yasar's family from starvation? How did the government then try to force the Jasharets to let Precaze go? Which of the family members prevented the sale of Yashare wealth and the shift from Kosovo?
About three hundred years ago, from three Albanian brothers -- Jashar, Meha and Kadriu -- will start creating three neighbourhoods of Preskazi, this village of Drenica, the most famous in Kosovo's new history. One of the family of these three neighborhoods, what will be paid in the name of the first three brothers, and who will later be known as the Jasarets, the story will give her the seal that after March 5th of I998, wherever Albanians and all over the world breathe, to be known as the family who self-reflected, definitely opened the way for Kosovo freedom.
There will be the four, five and six of this family, the ones with whom the birthday of this freedom will be identified, dreamed centuries of Kosovo Albanians, and the old Shaban Yasar with the sons of Ademi, as with his nieces, those who with their blood will give Prekas over centuries, the honor to be called the birthplace of Kosovo freedom. In all this patriotic honor that Yasharet was left to inherit to his homeland story, Adem Jashari, the third son of Saban and Zahides, will be the main figure to start writing this story. For part of this story, and for many things untaught so far, in an extra-ordinary story for „Zer“, this is Rifat Jashar, the living testimony of the multi-year resistance of the legendary Yasar family against the Serb conqueror.

What is the origin of the Yashhar family?
Rifat Jashar: On the basis of the story that we've been explained to our first, our family, lived in Down Below Prescas many years ago. For six years I952-I958, my father has not dared to come for a visit or a date or a nephew or a friend... When some senior Belgrade official came to Kosovo at the time, Baby Shaban was barred from leaving the house, while police were telling him: Downtown is made up of four neighborhoods: the Jasharaj neighborhood, Kodra, Meha and Lushtaku. The first three neighborhoods were created by three brothers: Yasar, Kadriu and Mehes, so they're in one blood, and the Lushtakes are later in Prescaz.
And there were three sons of two; and the family of Adam Jashar came from the third son of Jashar the Muratite, from which other generations of our family were created: Fazliu, Murati, Shaban, then me, Hamza of Adam, and the generation of our sons and grandchildren. From this family trunk, I am the fifth generation, and my sons Hamze and Adam are the sixth generation.
Thank God, now we have our little grandchildren and our family trunk is being branched more and more, unlike the past, when in generations the Jashar family was only one generation of offspring. This thin thread of Jashare legacy has also made the origin of our family not difficult to explain.
What can you say about your first past?
Rifat Jashar: Our first one, Murati, whose name is three times inside six generations of our family, has gone soldier or „6x1> as they said at the time, in the Small Game, to his brother. Since then, they say he has never returned home. The Murat left his only son, Fazliu, in the cradle six months, to raise his mouse.
When this happened, can you say so roughly?
Rifat Jashar: This happened somewhere about 3O years ago. From the going and not bringing the Murat home, for our family begins a kind of „the thin minus “that was always on the verge of being cut. Well, thank God, that didn't happen. Fazliu, whom we said, the Murati had left in the cradle, had grown up and made an honest man in view of what was then hard times under slavery, and when there was a lot of trouble between people, taking land and killing men because of wealth. With these problems for luck, Fazliu was not faced. After he was married, Fazliu was forgiven by God by a son of the Mratha, who was our great grandfather. Murati had then had two daughters, who were later married in Lauche and the only son of Shaban, who had married Zahiden, our mother, and had us three sons: me (Rifat), Hamzen and Adam and five daughters: Haven, Zylen, Zojen, Qamilen and Halimen. My sons, Hamze and Adam, are the sixth generation of the Yashhar family.
When was Mija Shaban born?
Rifat Jashar: Babe Shaban was born in the year Azem Bata was killed (I924), a symbol of the war against Serbs in Drenica. For Dad Shaban, they've shown how children have been very poor about health and grew up with great difficulty. That in childhood, his great grandfather told him about the war of Azem Bata and his heroic centre. During the time Father Murat lived, the atrocities of Serbian power against our family had been excessive, and that was proved by his great grandfather, but also by babe Shabani. Sometimes these were their own circle, which at the time was very afraid of power.
In those difficult times, a lot of people have told their fathers to sell their land and wealth and leave the country, because they thought that only then could our family save the great injustice that they were powering. But Santa didn't want to do that. From the first one, he had inherited this hectare of land and mountain, and this wealth we, his descendants, today and that day, in this country, in Prekaz.
At the time that Santa had great pressure from power to spread from Prescazi and Kosovo, Albanian lands were leaving a beautiful number of Albanians. Once, because of excessive pressure, my great grandfather had just never sold his wealth to take the road to exile with his entire family.
ALIJEMA RECENT CENTURY THE FAMILY OF MURTH JASH FROM URI
Mijza Shaban pointed out in an earlier story to the weekly <x0Zer“, that his mother was the principal person who didn't allow the Mrat to sell the property and release the Precious?
Rifat Jashar: That's right. Father's main pillar was his wife Halima, our grandmother. She was a manly woman of a strong family from Kosterzy. The friendship at the time had told Baby Shaban: „Sell your wealth and get out of here, because you don't have a long life here, Murat! But our grandmother, Halima, was opposed by saying:“Riches is not sold. If this boy who has forgiven us God's name is a ymer, he's going to have this place thicken up“.
Babe Shabani, then had six-seven months, while Grandma Halima's determination and determination had caused our family to live on this land as we are today. Later on, they show how Saban grew up and said from childhood there was a higher intelligence, given by nature itself. In his youth, there were no high schools and schools where he could be educated, but he did it at that time, and after military service, Dad also took a course to become a teacher. After returning from the military, as one of the first intellectuals in Drenica, my father had started working as a teacher in Drenica. He worked mostly in Terdec, Obriac, Prekaz,Kline, Preloc, Weekends, etc. As a teacher, he worked from I949-l952, when he's also being imprisoned by the then powerful.
How long have your grandparents lived?
Rifat Jashar: Santa Murati lived until I962, and Grandma Halima until I963.
You said your grandfather Murati had a lot of pressure to sell his fortune and leave Precazi. Did Mija Shaban tell you something about his father's past?
Rifat Jashar: I remember a case that Dad Shaban told me about. The case is very painful, but I'm showing it. By the time Father was a soldier, there had been famine in Kosovo and, father Murati had gone to the villages of Drenice to ask for bread, because the other male hadn't had in our family. He's been looking all day, but he can't find any bread. Nobody gives it. Returning from Lyusa meets Ali Xhemena, a Roma who tells their ancestors:“O Murat Fazlia, a god is, like here, like there... why are you getting upset? No, man, I don't know what you're doing to the slaves who don't have the flour grain, that for Saban, it's not even falling into my mencous, it's back to Santa Claus.
Ali Gemma gives Santa half a sack of flour and he comes home... Interestingly, in the March 5th I998 attack on our family and in Drenice, Ali was killed by three members of his family by Serb forces. Other family generations have been created from the Murati, the third son of Jashar: Fazliu, Murati, Shaban, me, Hamza and Adam, and the generation of our sons and grandchildren. From this trunk, Rifat is the fifth generation, and my sons, Hamze and Adam, are the sixth generation.
Later, when Father returns from the military, he begins to work as a teacher in Skenderaj until he is imprisoned by power in the charge of having been the best „“. It's interesting to say that two weeks ago, at a wedding here in Drenice, my son Murati meets a man from Terdec, who says to Murat: „Eh, son, your father Shabani, he has taught me the Albanian script“. This man had also told Murat how his father had taught him and his fellow students the song of Bajram Currie, while he had also told him that after Shaban left school, the other teacher had told his students that the song for Bajram Currin, which he taught them to the Shaban teacher, is forbidden“, and then, as they said, „irredentist...127>.
And, as I said earlier, Dad was then imprisoned in Scytheerake, and Santa still remained alone. What do I do? - You think I'm gonna sell some of the wealth to get the guy out of jail who has power trying to seduce him with different things just to make him work for them, promising him a fortune. He didn't admit it. From then on, he faced every time with great difficulty, ranging from economic problems, various pressures to his isolation from power and his circle to grandparents for years.
J INS LIFE STORY NEW T E IZOLATION T E MIXHES SHABAN
Can you give us any concrete examples of this isolation that was then made to the Saban lady?
Rifat Jashar: I'm going to mention one case that happened exactly to my father's older sister in Lausa. Our aunt engaged her two sons in one day. Our son-in-law comes and says to Daddy: "If you come, Shaban, for me there is no word of bride“, and I convince him that he must go to his nephews, even though at that time the narrow circle, but also the extended family, out of fear of power, had left babe Shaban. My dad goes there and he goes to this place where there were at least 3O men. They get out of there right away and say to our son-in-law: “if Shabani is here, we'll get up and walk “. And, not to spoil his sister's maiden, father gets up and leaves the bride's word. For my grandparents, my father has never dared to visit anyone.
In fact, the police and the power at that time demanded of their father, that for any move he would make outside the country, he would be presented to the police. At the time, when a senior official came to Kosovo from Belgrade, for his father, by police order, was banned from home. During those days, the police were telling their father: This period was after I952 until I958.
I mean. These were the hardest years for the Saban fly?
Rifat Jashar: Yeah. I952-I958. During this time, Dad has experienced the biggest crises and has faced the greatest pressure to leave the country. In those years, our family and two other village families, which the regime had in their eyes for the worse, paid a huge tax, because so the rifle wanted to keep pressure on us to leave the country. Dad paid the state tax from 45. OOO before that time, he and his sons of Hamza Shassirvar and Haxhi Halim. That was the highest tax in the entire Sculmer municipality that someone paid.
