The president of the SBASK, Nundman Jasharaj, has said that on Monday, September 4th, when the new school year starts in the country, there will be no strike by teachers.
He has said that the SBASKU will first host the establishment of the country's new government.
“We are awaiting the founding of the Government of Kosovo to address the teachers' concerns. There will be no union actions at the beginning of the new school year”, Jasharaj told Gazeta Express.
The “Pres of the Kolective contract we're discussing with the municipalities, and we expect our demands to be realised”, Jasharaj has made it known.
The SBASKU had warned strike at the start of the new school year, with the reasoning that local and central institutions are not reflecting on the implementation of this union's demands.
The payment of three supplementary salaries, the payment of three salaries in the case of the teacher's retirement, payment of a 2-euro sack, as well as the 70% payment of the education teacher's travel to education are requirements the SBASK wants to realise.
These requirements, according to SBASKCH leaders, are legitimate, based on this year's Kolective Education Count, signed on April 18th.
