His action seems to be delayed and unnecessary. So at least they've praised political connoisseurs.
University professor Mazbul Baraliu said about “Indexline” that Kosovo's final agreement with Serbia as two independent states should result in mutual recognition.
Baraliu called the idea for the referendum “political scheme”.
“It is known that Serbia and Kosovo, if they want to have good neighbourly relations as two independent and democratic states, then it would have to end the dialogue, end up in mutual recognition. What Thaci wants to do is a late idea because he has a partisanisation of political class approaches in terms of dialogue. Some political subjects and, of course, even the academic world, its segments and civil society from the start have been fair against the start of a dialogue with Serbia, without Serbia knowing Kosovo's sovereignty, without apologizing and not recognising Kosovo as an equal subject. This is a political scheme”, he said.
Baraliu has commented on Thaci's warning of establishing a Unity Team, where even representatives of political parties will be present to develop dialogue in Brussels.
According to the analyst, this step would have to be taken before dialogue began.
The “was supposed to develop a platform from the beginning, since 2011 it had to have an agreement of thought, action plan and a strategy accepted by all so that it could then be moved there, roughly as if it was in Vienna. Then a political, position-opposital consensus and civil society had to be reached, and this had to be done at first”, he said.
Baraliu has said the dialogue would have to be technical, but that he has become a public dialogue.
