Thaci to seek direct US involvement in dialogue with Serbia

Thaci said at the meeting with Pence that he will seek direct US involvement in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
“I will have a meeting at the White House with vice president Pence from which to seek continued American support for strengthening international subjectivity, for Kosovo's economic development and Euro-Atlantic integration process”, Thaci said in an interview for RTK.
According to him at this meeting, there is a focus on the Balkans. “Mbi 95 per cent of Kosovars are for integration into Euro-Atlantic structures”, he said.
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci also spoke about the meeting he had with Pope Francisescu, with whom he has discussed Kosovo and the region. “I asked Pope Papa Francescu for the Vatican to recognise Kosovo”, he said in an interview for RTK. Thaci suggested he has invited the Pope to visit Kosovo. He said he has received support from the Vatican to have Kosovo's peace and co-operation with the countries of the region.
