According to Sefaj, the prosecution, with evidence it submitted to the session, has failed to prove the charges filed.

I say to the court that you had the historic chance to shed light on this mounted case, if not for us at least you loved your people, but you didn't want to do that for the sake of the dead cops. We know the truth, but you should know. We are not terrorists, but only people seeking better status for Albanians. The state itself has killed our own officers and boys”, Genc Sefaj said, charged.

We remember that a month ago, in the final address, the prosecution demanded a life sentence for all 37 defendants on charges of terrorism and terrorist organisations.

Twenty Kosovo citizens and 9 citizens of Macedonia are accused of participating in armed conflicts, while eight other citizens of Macedonia are accused of logistics.

In the May 9th 2015 conflict at “Trimies sector” in Kumanovo, 10 armed men and 8 members of Macedonia's special police unit were killed.
