Police have reported on Saturday that there is a person with a knife and a gun at a campus in Atlanta, while at risk for others, “reported. BBC”, report Periscope.
The video was shown showing Schultz 21, refusing to obey some police orders to remove the knife.
Schultz's mother said police should not have used the deadly force.
In a video taken by other students of Georgia's Institute of Technology, Schultz is heard saying “Shoot on me! One of the cops then opens fire on her.
The computer engineering student later died in the hospital, Georgia's Bureau of Investigation said.
No police officer from the Georgia Department (GTPD) was injured in the incident.
The officer who opened the fire has not been appointed.
Schultz's mother said she had many medical problems, suffered from depression, and attempted suicide two years ago./Periscopi/
