Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti has reacted to criminal speculation that today the PDK has handed over to the Special Prosecutor against him.
Ahmeti has suggested that these criminal charges, which he claims are purely for campaigning, will be held accountable before the prosecution.
He has also written articles on which punishments are given to those who represent false gossip.

Article 390
False Warning or Distraction
- Anyone who makes false announcements to the official person in charge of investigating or attending, that the designated person has committed a criminal offense, given that such a person is not in charge, is sentenced to fine or imprisonment of three (3) months to three (3) (3) years.
2. Anyone who offers false evidence for criminal work or in some other way causes the start of a criminal procedure that is followed according to official duty against the person for whom he knows that he has not committed a criminal offense is sentenced to punishment by paragraph 1.
