The arrest of several Serbian Red Cross representatives, located in northern Mitrovica, has sparked numerous reactions in the country.
The Special Unit's intervention in this part of the Republic has prompted Serbian media to give labels for the involvement of Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj in the event.
Electronic newspaper, “Telegraph.rs” made an article with “Serbs elected Haradinaj, he began arresting us”, broadcast Indesksonline.
Furthermore, several Serbian politicians are quoted as suggesting List of Srpska to help the people who live in Kosovo.
By contrast, Kosovo Police, with authorisation of the prosecutor for key prosecutors of the regions of Prizren, Peja, Pristina, Gjilan and Mitrovica, have conducted several audits of the areas of a humanitarian organisation (Serbia's Red Council) as well as in some of the settlements of some employees.
Regional Police Directors ( DDRPs have engaged police officials according to their estimates, where various documents allegedly used by individuals in this organisation” have been found and confiscated, said the KP report.
The confiscated documentation allegedly concerns population registration, documentations that are estimated to be suspicious and contrary to legal provisions, as census is done by competent Kosovo institutions.
Kosovo police during this police operation have interviewed several individuals who at the moment of inspections have been encountered in those areas in which the population registration material has been found.
