Although some attempts were made to be approved in the Assembly, the Law on Higher Education is seeing no light at the end of the tunnel.
Attempts to approve failed former Education Minister Arsim Bajrami twice because of Serbian MPs' votes, KTV reports.
According to analysts, the Serbian List has not voted in favour of this law, since the University of Northern Mitrovica, which works according to the Serbian academic system, in the new law will eventually be led by the country's institutions, namely by the Ministry of Education.
Arton Demhay, of the Organization “, says that with a similar situation, this law may be faced again, but the new minister should not put aside the matter, since the law constitutes one of the main topics of importance to the country.
And the expert in educational matters, Youth Qehaja, says it would be unforgivable for once again this law to fail, as it would seal what was said earlier, that education is manipulated by politics.
For when the law of such great importance to the land is followed in the assembly, no one answered.
KTV has even insisted on receiving answers from the Serbian List MP whether they will vote on this law but have received no response.
The Law on Higher Education, according to the Constitution, is of vital interest and certainly needs 2/3 of the votes, including those of MPs from the communities.
