As this agency reports, firefighters have appeared in front of the consulate, but they are not allowed access to the building, it broadcasts Telegrafi.
It is reported that the people who came out of the facility have told the firefighters that there is no “whatever problem” and that the consulate staff are burning “unidentified officers in the country's”.
The United States has ordered Russia to close its consulate in San Francisco, as well as two other items in Washington and New York, in response to Russia's decision to reduce the number of American diplomats in Moscow.
State Department has announced that the decision is taken in the spirit of “reciprocity” and that the deadline for closing the facilities is until 2 September.
