On September 25, 1998 was a day of fierce fighting. That day Drenica was involved in enemy offensive. I don't even know if there's ever been more fighting in Drenice since after the Jasharan Age.
We were a group of warriors under siege in Abri of Drenice in a small forest near the Demak Quarter. We were all in combat positions awaiting efforts with the enemy who was everywhere that day. Tahir Descu, a fighter and war journalist, was with us. We had the satellite phone with us. Tahiri wanted us to open the phone, wanted to report on the VAT. I opened her phone and gave it to her. He did the reporting under the grenade launch. I remember just one sentence at the end of the report that Tahiri said: “we are under a siege from which we can hardly get out.
