Information official in Vetevendosje Movement Shkodran Hoti has reacted to reports that Vetevendosje is calling not to vote German Chancellor Angela Merkel's party in elections to be held in Germany.
Facebook Hoti has written the VV call not to vote on the far-right party, Alternative to Germany (AFD), has been interpreted against VV's on purpose. According to him, Vetevendosje has asked Albanians in the diaspora to vote for Martin Schulz, former president of the European Union.
He also cites the fact that Schulz's (SPD) party is in coalition with Merkel's CDU.
That's his full response:
It must have been extremely provincial thinking to prevent a party's call to Kosovo to vote on another party elsewhere in the world, with which programming compliance.
The VVA convention on elections in Germany, as the title speaks of mobilization against the extreme right there, represented by the Alternative Party for Germany AFD. This party has xenophobic rhetoric, and our call is for this party not to be voted in, which Angela Merkel herself agrees with. If anyone is against our call not to vote the AFD, he is a lawyer for the latter.
On the other hand, on this statement we have stated the programmatial compliance we have with Germany's Social Democratic Party (SPD), whose leader is Martin Schulz, Kosovo's great friend who constantly repeats the condition for Kosovo's recognition if she wants the European path.
Moreover, Merkel's own party, The CDU, is in a coalition with Schulz's SPD. To declare that support should be only for Merkel and ask that despite ideological beliefs you should vote alone CLU, this is pure totalitarian thinking. Even Merkel doesn't think all Germans or citizens of Germany should vote alone CLU.
“Portal” which has tried to give our next statement is directed by a hypocritical provincial, which “habiat” why a political subject is dealing with another state's election, as he himself had writtenly sought support for an authoritarian anti-Albanian politician, Nikola Gruevski in Macedonia.
