These were some of the political parties' promises in past elections, which they did not fulfill.

Four years ago, local elections in Kosovo were held.

At the time parties in the country, electoral gatherings started and ended with tupa and surla, these Oriental instruments, while everywhere they promised to transform Kosovo's European settlements.

Enver Hoxhaj, former foreign affairs minister, when he wrote in the municipality of Lipjan to support Shkuri Buna, was full of Europe.

Prime Minister Thaci at the same gathering promised 150m euros in investments in the Mitrovica municipality, if citizens again trust the municipality of Avni Kastrati, Kosovo reports.

Thaci had also promised 100m euros in investments for Prizren, if they would then vote Ramadan Muja for chairman.

Four years later these investments are not visible in Mitrovica and Prizren.

Major promises had also been made by the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Pristina then chairman and LDK chairman Isa Mustafa warned that he would stop the flow of vehicles in the old part of the capital to build a cobblestone square.
