His full Facebook comment:
Martin Luther King, the hero of the US social revolution, said: It may be that you are not responsible for the situation you are in. But you'll be held responsible if you don't do anything to change it.
I decided to do something. I did not want to be responsible for the Kosovo crisis, but to take responsibility for its solution.
In the face of the alternative going to early elections, the chain of crises that would destroy Kosovo's fragile economy, its international image, I, the AKR, chose to take responsibility. The processes where Kosovo entered sought responsibility, and I took responsibility.
I can develop them. Kosovo's interest, national interest is on everyone's party interest. I consulted with international friends, Kosovo's most important friends, with different citizens and made the right decision. There was no other option.
I followed all the other scenarios, so that the coalition where I competed to form the government, but nothing was done. We sacrificed, didn't ask for a post, and the parties from the other blocks were away.
Under these conditions, I decided to take responsibility. It is clear, and world history has shown that often a small party can take on great responsibilities. You judge me for the quality with which I will hold these responsibilities.
I have said I will not enter a government where I will not have great responsibilities.
With Prime Minister Haradinaj, I have guarantees that I will hold these responsibilities, in Kosovo's best interests -- for Kosovo's UN membership, for visa liberalisation, for entry into the U. NESTO, Interpol, etc.
