Pacolli promises triple Pristina municipality budget

Pristina municipality mayorial candidate Selim Pacolli was on a visit today to several homes in the municipality's Velani district of Pristina.

He talked to the citizens of this neighborhood about their problems and needs.

He presented some important parts of his programme to them, where he highlighted the triple Pristina municipality budget.

“We aim to triple the Pristina municipality budget within 24 months that we will take leadership of the Pristina municipality” said Pacolli.

Citizens of this neighbourhood are expressed concerned about blocking traffic in the capital, as well as some other problems not met by current governance.

Pacolli as a choice for this envisions the shift from the city centre to the entire central administrative level, to the outskirts of the city, where he thinks more communication would thus be released from official cars that block the city and cause chaos.

The important part of Pacolli's programme for meeting the needs of Pristina citizens he highlighted at this meeting is the establishment of the quality level of the University of Pristina, where the mayor intends that the UPP make it a target for regional students.

“We pretend that Pristina University will become target for regional students, and we will do it UP on that level that regional students will come to study with us, not us at them” highlighted Pacolli.

Citizens of the Velani neighbourhood agreed with Pacol's intentions that he claims to realise as chairman, and they after that congratulated him on his way as the next mayor of the Pristina municipality.
