Kosovo's first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Behgjet Pacolli, has said in Brussels, after meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Federika Moghrini, that he has informed EU officials that Kosovo at the moment is unable to ratify the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro and requires another way out of this challenge, Koha Ditore writes today.
I was able to explain the real situation in Kosovo, just as the situation is. I think I have made it clear that the demarcation as such is not expected to be ratified in this period and in the coming period. Each one is clear today. Even yesterday, I posted it, even today”, Pacolli said after meeting Mrs. Moghrin.
“Now is a challenge that must be overcome. Of course, we have to find another way and it seems that now I see that there is room for work on another alternative, bypassing this problem. Not to bypass and leave there, but we consider it a challenge that needs to be overcome, but not now. It can't be overcome now. The time is expected. Never should integration processes fail to expect this challenge to be carried out and move on. If we do that, it's a huge mistake -- both of Brussels and Pristina” -- Pacolli has said.
