NISMA in Gjilan: Citizen will be god in his city (Video)

In the theater hall of the City of Gjilan, which was packed, NISMA for Kosovo branch in Gjilan has opened the election campaign on Saturday. Before many citizens, the candidate of this party for mayor of Gjilan, Bajram Hasani has introduced candidates for municipal assembly, promising that, in his rule, Gjilan will return to the hands of his citizens. He said the citizen of Gjilan would be a god in his own country.

Chairman NISMA, Fatmir Limaj, at the opening of this campaign, has said it is a pleasure to be at the Anamorawa helm in Gjilan, a region that according to him best represents NISMAC philosophy that is solidarity among people. He has said that Gjilan during the last war and the war in Presevo has proved to be the more solid people, adding that there is no room and people more solid than the gentiles. He has said that in NISMA's philosophy it is to be close to poor people, near the worker, near those who have no space, near the farmer, the entrepreneur, near families who live with social aid.

“We're walking everywhere. Kosovo and we are revealing this political philosophy that unites people. You heard the mayor and didn't hear any promises and you won't hear from me either. He started and finished his word and did not speak on behalf of his state position as minister. We don't exploit our positions and on behalf of the frauds we seek the vote. This hall here is filled with promises from those in power. Ministers and prime ministers have come here, and who has come has promised and deceived Gjilan and Anamorawa. We will never hear such words. We never promised them we'd do it and this. We're not doing this because we think we have a duty. Today, as head of the party, not as a deputy director, she invites all of Gjilan's citizens to evaluate their current governance carefully. It's time to make an account. If you are satisfied with the local government's results, go ahead, but if you are not happy, you have the opportunity to change it on October 22nd”, Limaj has indicated.

He has estimated that Gjilan from so-called major parties has been used as a barn of votes and then forgotten by turning his back on him. First NISMAS has ordered the citizens of Gjilan to punish those who betrayed their faith all these years.

“P or you've never asked them to account for the votes they took. They've come here and they're heavily loaded with votes and they've turned their backs and they've seen this region and it's going to continue every time you don't ask for an account. They will continue with this logic until you punish them. Punish all those who have betrayed your trust and have failed to meet the demands of Annamorava.”, Limaj added.

While Gjilan's presidential candidate, Bajram Hasani, who is also Minister of Trade and Industry during his speech, has given no promises from the state position he holds.

Hasan has said that no government so far has given Gjilan due credit.

Dear citizens, the time has come for our city to return to life, development, and perspective. The time has come for you to be lords of your city! It's time for DOCH! All of you present in this room know that the principle of NISMA is solidarity among people, and these principles we will make principles of our city as well.

We don't promise great things, unattainable things spoken only in campaign time, we talk about what we're going to do and that will make your life better and Gnjilan a place you'll never think of leaving. The projects that we will promise before you will be convinced that we will be realised because our people are men of iron wills, civil courage and morals for the development of our city”, Hasani said.

Presenting his project for Gjilan, Hasani has said he is aware he is expecting much work.

This guy needs a lot of projects, but I've set priorities that would make your life easier. Of our children, of everyone who steps down in Gjilan. This program is not just a campaign program, it is a guide for me and you to build Gjilan together and it will affect our daily lives. As I said earlier, in the governance of NISMA in Gjilan every citizen will be directly affected by our programme, which consists of improving its living conditions”, he stressed.

As the main pillars of my programme are five capital projects of particular importance for the development of the city of Gjilan: the creation of a free economic zone, the construction of a sewage plant, urban traffic, and the construction of a European standard stadium.

“We aim to develop democracy, build rule of law, economic development and create civic prosperity. Every citizen of Gjilan must feel it. And we're going to do this with the best people we've got who are part of our” list, he said.
