NATO deputy chief asks how Kosovo will resolve demarcation issue

During the meeting, respective positions were expressed and discussed opportunities for expanding and boosting bilateral co-operation, a report by the MPJ revealed.
Bottemeller has expressed interest in the position and approach of the Republic of Kosovo institutions in terms of the process of conducting dialogue with Serbia, as well as resolving the demarcation of the border line with Montenegro.
As for the question of dialogue, Pacolli has stressed that this issue should have a clear time frame, while in terms of demarcation of the border line with Montenegro, he has expressed confidence that this issue will be exceeded in the best way, taking into account excellent relations between the two countries.
Bottemeller has re-focused the even earlier stance that NATO will continue to support Kosovo, as it has in the past.
During the meeting, it has also been discussed in the process of transforming the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Armed Forces, which has agreed that this should be done in full co-ordination with NATO, in support of the local legal framework, as well as in co-ordination of actions with allied states and partners, the communique from MPJ reports.
Pacolli has thanked this organisation's irreplaceable role and contribution on behalf of the end of the war, peace building and continuing to provide security in Kosovo and the region, praising that “could not be imagined by Kosovo and the region without NATO presence<3>.
