Ramiz Ladrovci has been elected chairman of the Drenas municipality for almost a year.
During this governing era, it seems that Laddrovci is having trouble implementing the formula that <x0... revealed”, that “force makes power”.
Out of a total of 20 promises Lardrovci had given during the campaign, only one has managed to make it happen, and of the other 16 promises it seems that he is not even crying, writes the Word newspaper.
Drenas' first did not suffice the 13m euros that his party leader Kadri Wessel promised him.
“With Chairman Ladrovci will have 13m euros in investment in this municipality”, he had declared first of all PDK, Kadri Wessel, the first day of the Drenas chairmanial camp in the extraordinary elections.
With this hope Ramiz Ladrovci continued to show fellow scholars what projects will be realised during his term as chairman, which most of them are left on paper alone.
And in better condition than Ladrovci for the realization of the promises does not stand even the head of Junik, Agron Red.
The 24th Red has fulfilled 12 of them, but eight have not even begun.
548 Promises, Not Half Done
During the election campaign, political parties in past elections had made total 548 promises. But not half of them have been accomplished.
Meanwhile, there are 66 projects that have never begun to come true.
So the GAP Institute research has found, about how much the mayors have fulfilled their promises.
And according to this research among the mayors who haven't fulfilled the promises is also the Muharrem Svarqa of Ferryaj.
During the campaign, he had spoken a great deal of words, and with the conviction that all would be carried out during this mandate. But let alone that he has failed, but two projects have been completely forgotten.
Svarqa from the 17 promises he had made has managed to deliver 10 of them, and the remaining ones he thinks he will continue with the conviction that he will be Ferizaj's chairman even for this mandate.
And Mitrovica leader Agim Bahtiri has failed to deliver even half of his promises during the campaign. Of the 17 projects he planned to complete, seven have been completed, but even in the Bahtiri municipality there are two projects that have not even begun to function.
The capital's first, Shpend Ahmeti, of the 30 promises he had given, has fulfilled 20 of them, but in hopes of leading with the capital for another four years, he has promised to complete the 15 projects left in half.
Mimoza Kusari-Lila made only eight of the 32 promises given to Gjakova
Nine projects have been implemented in the Poudjevo municipality of 15 projects, of which he had promised during the campaign, the head of this municipality, Agim Veliu.
Even Veliu, claims to be chairman for another four years, where he has promised six remaining half projects will be realised in the last term.
Gjakova Mayor Mimoza Kusari-Lila, during the campaign, had given the most promises, but the girl did not.
During the campaign, Kusari-Lila had given 32 promises, of which only eight have been realised, and a project has not even begun to come true.
Lutfi Haziri of Gjilan had given 22 promises. From these promises, Haziri has managed to fulfill 12 and a promise is still only on paper, since he has not even begun.
Even Kline chairman Sokol Basota during the campaign had given large numbers of promises. But he couldn't accomplish everything.
Of the 23 promises, Basota has fulfilled 13 and three.
The same number of promises as Basota had given Gazmend Muhaxdjir of Peja, and the number he has fulfilled is similar to that of Bashan.
The 23 promises the muhaiari has fulfilled only 10, and three have not begun.
And the poorest chairman, Refki Suma, had given 15 promises. Suma has managed to realise eight of them, and there is no agreement that has not begun.
The seven projects left in half he plans to implement in the next mandate.
Misuse of Power in Municipals
In local elections, which will be held on October 22nd, there are 38 candidates for mayorals. And over 7 thousand citizens have run to occupy a thousand and two seats dedicated to assemblies.
And the large number of municipalities, researchers at the GAP Institute, Agron Demi, see it as an opportunity to abuse power.
In some of the established municipalities, the mayor has more income than the municipality itself. His example is the Partesh Community.
In this municipality of property revenues are 11,000 euros, and the president's annual salary exceeds that amount, amounting to 14,000 euros.
And in other municipalities, they spend more on car fuels than on maintaining schools and medical centres.
The Kline municipality has spent 89 thousand euros on auto fuel, and 70 thousand euros on the maintenance of all schools, all medical centers, and all other public buildings”.
Demi has indicated that there are municipalities where the capital investment budget is less than municipal executive salaries. The budget for capital investments in the Kamenica municipality is 124 thousand euros, as much as the president's annual salaries, deputy chairmans and directors are.
